For the past 20 years volunteers have put together a magical animated gingerbread village that includes a ski hill, moving train and lots of skating rinks.  Members of the community submit a creation for the village and last year there were 80 gingerbread creations. The village is at the Scugog Memorial library at 231 Water St Port Perry. Admission is free and the village is open during regular library hours from Dec. 7 to Dec. 31.
