During this in-depth and empowering seminar, guest presenter Dr. Michelle Acorn will provide tips and strategies for persons living with dementia, family, care partners and heath-care providers to optimize health care throughout the dementia journey. Topics will include an overview of dementia, frailty and aging, the stages of the disease, how to access community resources and support systems, how to navigate the health-care system, care partner support and much more.
