February 25^th 2020, North Durham Nature presents: “Madagascar, Not the Disney Version”. 7 pm, Scugog Memorial Library, 231 Water Street, Port Perry.  The island of Madagascar contains a myriad of spectacular life forms found nowhere else on earth.  Learn about the lemur, giant chameleons, multicoloured birds and strange trees that make up this unique area.  Past President of Ontario Nature, avid conservationist and well-travelled amateur naturalist, Otto Peter, will share his wildlife encounters and images from some of Madagascar’s hot spots.
