 Dog Days Fast Facts:

  • Dog Days is the largest event hosted by the Scugog Shores Museum Village and the largest dog event in Durham Region.
  • Since 2003 over 15,000 people and dogs have attended
  • More than $120,000 has been raised for the Museum.

What does the Dog Days of Scugog mean to our past participants?

  • "Dog Days is the most fun you can have with your best friend. I like it all. I like the raucous fun of the sport of disc dog (especially the freestyle event where people and their dogs demonstrate in time to music), the fashion show is hysterical and the kids really get a kick out of it. A beautiful outdoor setting; not so crowded that you can't enjoy the market or view the competitions, sporting events and demonstrations. You are guaranteed to have a fabulous day" - Paula Bund, owner of two large Golden Doodles.
