North House and the Region of Durham have partnered together to bring a service hub to Port Perry. The HUB aims to remove transportation and technology barriers for low-income residents of Scugog by bringing social service supports to one location, one day per month. Services include: OW/ODSP, employment services, mental health and addiction services, housing and addictions services, senior and family services, and harm reduction services. The HUB will be at Port Perry United Church every first Wednesday of each month. If you have questions about the HUB, please email ppservicehub@nortthhouse.ca.

Family Fun Thursdays are here! Beginning Thursday, May 26th, guests can enjoy additional fun each week! Drop in every Thursday for some extra exploration, included with general admission to the museum.
Programming changes weekly, check the Family Fun Thursday lineup or Scugog Shores Museum social media to see what each week holds! Seek & Find through the village, learn about uses and meanings of flowers and herbs, or play some pioneer games – what will you discover?
Seek & Find and Garden Days are open to drop in visitors.
Pioneer Game Days include a special game session at 11:00 am with limited space available. Pre-registration for Pioneer Game Day sessions here.
Discovering Trades includes an activity related to 19th century jobs, available at any time during the reserved day. Please pre-register here to reserve a spot.

Visit the Village after dark for a spine-tingling evening with the Paranormal Seekers. The Paranormal Seekers are a well-established paranormal investigation group based out of Durham Region that has investigated the Scugog Shores Museum Village, Parkwood Estate, and various other sites. They will share their findings of a recent investigation of the museum, as well as other common experiences at the museum.
Guests will join the Paranormal Seekers in an investigation of the Museum Village, breaking into small groups for the chance to explore different locations and learn about the equipment. Will you leave with your own paranormal experience to share?
