The 44th Canadian federal election has been announced, and voters head to the polls on September 20th, 2021. Now more than ever, it is critical that the climate emergency is the top concern for every political hopeful. Let's make this a #ClimateElection!

On September 13th, 2021 from 6-8 PM, Climate Justice Durham is hosting a community climate debate! We will be joined at 1685 Bloor St (Hope Fellowship Church in Courtice) by Liberal, Green, NDP, and Conservative candidates in the Durham Region from different ridings to discuss their party's policies and plans to mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis.

Admission is free and the event will have a run time of approximately two hours. Masks are required for the in-person event and physical distancing will be in effect. Hand sanitizer will be available and all attendees will be asked a series of COVID-19 screening questions before entry.

Join artist Sarah Shaw for an afternoon of creativity and fun against the beautiful backdrop of Scugog Shores Museum Village. Guests will follow step by step instruction to create their own masterpiece painting of Autumn Bridge to take home. This workshop includes all painting supplies, professional instruction, and a glass of sparkling local cider!
