Port Perry Pedals Community Events

7:00 AM

Port Perry Pedals is a charitable cycling event based in Port Perry, ON – a picturesque, historic community on the shores of Lake Scugog in the Region of Durham, about one hour north-east of Toronto. It was founded in 2021 in partnership with the Rotary Club of Port Perry.

Since its founding, Port Perry Pedals participants and supporters have raised over $60,000 for the Port Perry Hospital Foundation, the Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham, and the Grandview Kids Foundation.

Port Perry Pedals strives to celebrate and develop the growing popularity of cycling in our area. Our unique circuits along the shores of Lake Scugog, through the Oak Ridges Moraine, and Ontario's Greenbelt Route have been dubbed as "Southern Ontario's Prettiest Rides" by the Ontario Cycling Association.

Scugog is now part of the Province-wide Cycling Network, and the Greenbelt Route, the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail, and the TransCanada Trail offer a wide variety of riding options.

In 2023, we are raising founds for state-of-the-art imaging equipment as part of Lakeridge Health Foundation's "Our Cancer" campaign.
