Mushrooms and Late Season Plants at Glen Major Forest Community Events

Mid-autumn is a great time to go into the forest to see colourful foliage and look for mushrooms. Glen Major Forest contains a variety of fungal rich habitats such as deciduous and coniferous forests and meadows where decaying wood sprout a range of mushrooms.
